Domestic violence resources come in all shapes and sizes. There are those that cater to the poor, there are those that offer emergency shelter services.
There are those that will help you with matters in your home and those that help you with matters of the court. There are some that have support groups and others that offer psychological counseling. Some will care for your children and others do not.

A finer distinction is the insight that comes to domestic abuse survivors as they recognize battering and identify intimate partner violence.
