Domestic violence resources come in all shapes and sizes. There are those that cater to the poor, there are those that offer emergency shelter services.

There are those that will help you with matters in your home and those that help you with matters of the court. There are some that have support groups and others that offer psychological counseling. Some will care for your children and others do not.

Stop Verbal Abuse – 3 Signs You Are a Candidate for Therapy

A knee-jerk response to a battering loved one is to “fix” them in therapy. You heard me. Drag them into therapy so that they change. Fix this boy, this girl, this man, this woman. And fix them right now!

However, therapy is an inside job. When it is inspired from anything other than what’s internal to the person in therapy, it’s likely that the intended change will not occur.

Family Court Violence and Crazy-Making Maneuvers

If I tell you that you are “crazy” and threaten to punish you because of what I have said, a part of you begins to question that maybe what I have alleged is true.

Then, if I tell someone in authority that you are “crazy” and consequently they set forth to create restrictions around your personal and civil liberties, then more of you questions…is this true?
