When domestic abuse survivors fall into a slump, they can become the beaten down person they where in the abusive relationship. Here are your 3 keys to thriving after domestic abuse.
When that happens, nip it in the bud. In the same way that you may quash a cold coming at its early onset (at the very first sign of it coming on), you arrest its progression.

We often hear friend’s and family members of domestic abuse victims express frustration over their loved one’s choosing to remain in their abusive relationships. This is understandable. Question is how can they help the abused?
In working with families over the years, I find the best thing to remind them of is the importance of helping the abused build the intra-psychic infrastructure to carry on beyond the abusive relationship.
